# What is Taskezy?

> Taskezy is the AI operations layer for small businesses. Tia, the agent inside, runs sales, finance, operations, inventory, and your day — all from WhatsApp.

Taskezy is the AI operations layer for a small business. It runs on WhatsApp — the channel your team, your crew, and your suppliers already use — so there is no new app to install and no new interface to learn.

**Tia** is the AI agent inside Taskezy. You message her the way you would message a capable office manager: forward a receipt, ask how cash looks, tell her a lead just called. She does the work across your sales, finance, operations, and inventory records, then reports back.

<Note>
  **Taskezy** is the product. **Tia** is the agent. Tia is internal — she works for you and your team. She never chats with your end customers.
</Note>

## One assistant, five seats

A small business runs on a handful of jobs that a bigger company would hire for. Taskezy staffs each one. You talk to a single assistant; behind the scenes she covers five seats.

## What makes Taskezy different

<Steps>
  <Step title="It acts, it doesn't just answer">
    Tia is not a search box over your data. Send a receipt and she drafts the expense. Tell her a job is delayed and she flags the project. Ask who is overdue and she pulls it from your books. The work happens in the conversation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It lives where your team already is">
    Everything runs over WhatsApp. The office coordinator, the field crew, and the owner all reach Tia from the same chat they already keep open all day. No logins, no dashboards to check.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It never touches the books without you">
    Tia drafts; you confirm. Every entry that changes your books of record — an expense, a payment, a posted invoice — waits for an explicit **confirm** from an owner or manager. This is the **two-step on books** rule, and it never bends.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It works standalone, and connects when you want">
    The workspace is your system of record out of the box — across sales, finance, inventory, and operations. Connect a bank feed and Zoho Books when you want entries to flow to systems you already run. Nothing is required to get value on day one.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Who it's for

Taskezy is built for owner-run and small-team businesses in the GCC — trades and contracting, field services, retail and wholesale, agencies and studios, and professional services. It is localized for the region: your currency, your VAT rules, and your workweek, whether that is Sunday–Thursday in Saudi Arabia or Monday–Friday in the UAE.

## How you'll set it up

Three steps, and the first is the only one you need to start.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the workspace">
    Sign up, set up your organisation profile, and verify the owner's WhatsApp number. A few minutes, self-serve. See [Getting started](/getting-started).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Forward your first receipt">
    Send Tia a photo on WhatsApp. She extracts the vendor, amount, VAT, and project, and drafts the entry for your confirmation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect your systems (optional)">
    Add a [bank feed](/connect-your-bank) for daily reconciliation, connect [Zoho Books](/connect-zoho-books) for accounting, and [bring your team onto WhatsApp](/whatsapp-setup).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What's next

* [Getting started](/getting-started) — create a workspace and forward your first receipt.
* [How Tia works](/how-tia-works) — the assistant, the draft-confirm rule, and the morning brief.
* [What Tia can do](/finance) — a tour of each of the five seats.
