# Using the app

> The Taskezy app is where you see and manage everything — your dashboard, every list and document, reports and settings. Here's how it's laid out.

Taskezy is a full business app. Everything Tia does on WhatsApp you can also see and do in the app at [app.taskezy.co](https://app.taskezy.co) — and some things, like reports, settings and your front desk, live only there. Most teams use both: the office in the app, the owner and the field on WhatsApp, all working on the same records.

The app works in your computer's browser and your phone's.

## Home

**Home** is your dashboard:

* **Headline numbers** — **Revenue** for the month so far, **Net profit**, **Cash on hand**, **Overdue** and **Money in · 24h**, with your net profit over the last 12 months.
* **Today — needs you** — what needs your attention, most urgent first, with a button to act on each one: **Chase** an overdue invoice, **Review** or **Approve** an item, or **Open** it.
* **Create** — shortcuts to a **New quote**, **New invoice**, **New expense** or **New project**, or to **Invite a teammate**.
* **Chat with Tia** — opens Tia on WhatsApp.

## The sidebar

Everything is grouped the way a business runs:

| **Finance** | Payments, E-invoicing |
| **Productivity** | Hub, Tasks, Reminders, Notes, Files |

**Settings** is at the bottom. You only see the sections your [roles](/whatsapp-setup#roles) give you access to. On a computer, collapse the sidebar to icons to make more room; on a phone, it opens from the menu button.

## Lists and records

Every list works the same way:

* **Search** and **filters** at the top — by status, owner, date and more. Tiles above the list sum up what you're looking at.
* A **New** button to create a record — **New lead**, **New quote**, **New invoice**, **New expense**…
* Leads and projects can be shown as a **Board**, where you drag cards between stages, or as a **List**.

Open a record and its tabs show everything about it — typically an **Overview**, a **PDF** for documents, **Edit**, and its **Timeline** or related records. The buttons at the top are what you can do next: **Convert to invoice**, **Record payment**, **Mark delivered**, and so on.

Quotes, invoices, purchase orders and bills share the same line-item editor: search your catalogue or type a description, set quantity, rate, discount and tax, drag lines to reorder, and add section headings.

## Search

Press **⌘K** (or **Ctrl+K**), or click **Search or jump to…** at the top. Type a name, number or reference to find contacts, invoices, quotes, leads, projects and vendors — or the name of a screen to jump straight to it.

## Notifications

The bell at the top shows things that need a look — items to review, a customer waiting for a person on your front desk, account alerts. Click **View all** for the full list.

## The app and Tia, together

Anything recorded through Tia shows up in the app immediately, and the other way round. A few things are done only in the app — setting a lead's owner, raising delivery notes, merging duplicate contacts, your reports and settings, and running your front desk. Each page of these docs says how to do things in the app first, then how to do them with Tia.
