Your front desk can answer customers who message your business on WhatsApp — on your number, under your business’s name. This is separate from Tia: Tia has her own number that only your team uses.

Before you start

  • A number for your business. It can’t be in use in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on a phone. If it is, delete that WhatsApp account on the phone first — or use a new number.
  • A Facebook account that can manage your business on Meta. Connecting creates or uses a WhatsApp Business account for you.
Once connected, the number is answered through Taskezy, not the WhatsApp Business app. Your team replies to customers from Front desk → Conversations.

Connect it

1

Start from Channels

Go to Front desk → Channels and click Connect WhatsApp. Meta’s sign-up window opens.
2

Follow Meta's steps

Choose or create your business, add your number and verify it with the code Meta sends. When the window closes, Taskezy checks everything is wired up correctly.
3

One step left

The card shows Connected — not answering yet. Send a WhatsApp message to your number from your own phone. When the front desk’s reply reaches you, the card changes to Answering customers — that reply is the proof it works both ways.
Your front desk must be Live for customers to get answers. See Switch it on. If something is wrong, the card says so — for example, that Meta reported a problem, or that another app is still connected to the number. Click Check connection to run the checks again, or Disconnect to remove the number from Taskezy.

Customers who are already yours

When a customer messages from a number that’s already in your contacts, the front desk knows who they are straight away — they don’t need to prove it with a reference. It can then move their bookings or tell them where their order is.

Replying after 24 hours

WhatsApp only lets a business send free-form messages within 24 hours of the customer’s last message. In a WhatsApp conversation, Taskezy shows whether that window is open. After it closes, you can’t type a normal reply. Click Send follow-up instead. It sends an approved message — “Hi [name], this is [your business] following up on your message. Reply here and we will pick it up with you.” — and when the customer replies, the window opens again. Meta reviews that message when you first connect. Until it’s approved, Send follow-up says Meta is still reviewing it.
